Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist
Summary of Position:
The Clinical Assistant assumes a pivotal role in orchestrating daily administrative responsibilities, preparing treatment spaces, and providing invaluable support to practitioners during clinical hours. Integral to this position is the administration of hot/cold packs, electrical stimulation, and traction units, guided by practitioner directives.

- Proficiency in the structure and content of the English language, including word meanings, spelling, grammar rules, and composition principles.
- Familiarity with administrative and clerical procedures, encompassing word processing, file and record management, form design, and office terminology.

Task, Responsibilities, & Duties:
- Answer phones and obtain patient demographics and insurance details.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect co-payments/deductibles.
- Schedule appointments and conduct reminder calls.
- Prepare treatment rooms for clinical examinations.
- Assists providers in the application of hot/cold packs, electric stimulation, and traction units as directed.
- Coordinate daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, paperwork completion, and patient record maintenance.
- Address patient queries and concerns professionally.
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the office space.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a coachable attitude.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of related customer service experience in a fast-paced setting (retail/restaurant).
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Standing/walking for up to 4 hours during active clinic hours.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
