BrightStar Care of Southwest AtlantaCollege Park is hiring a bilingual (Spanish/English) CNA for a one-on-one private care assignment at Shepherd Center in Atlanta - one of the top spinal cord injury rehab facilities in the country.
This is not a facility staffing pool. This is a dedicated patient assignment with consistent hours, a single care team, and real clinical purpose. You'll work directly with a patient recovering from a recent spinal injury, and you'll communicate with the patient's Spanish-speaking family daily. Your language skills aren't a bonus here - they're essential.

Location: Shepherd Center, Atlanta, GA

Schedule: 12-hour shifts - days (7a–7p) and nights (7p–7a) available

Case type: One-on-one spinal cord injury rehab care

$16–$22/hr based on experience and shift

You'll provide hands-on, one-on-one care for a spinal injury rehab patient, including:

Assistance with daily living activities - bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting

Mobility support, repositioning, and safe transfers
-
Monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition to the supervising RN
-
Meal preparation and feeding assistance
-
Companionship and emotional support during recovery
-
Communicating with the patient's family in Spanish - translating care updates, answering questions, keeping the family connected to the care plan

Active CNA certification in Georgia
-
Bilingual - fluent in Spanish and English (spoken; written is a plus)

Valid driver's license with reliable transportation and auto insurance
-
Compassion, reliability, and comfort working independently with a complex patient
-
Experience with spinal cord injury, neuro rehab, or mobility-dependent patients is a strong plus - but we'll train the right person

Current CPR certification

Negative TB test or chest X-ray

Background check and drug screening (completed during orientation)

Onboarding paperwork (I-9, W-4, etc.)
