Patient-focused dental practice committed to providing high-quality preventive and restorative dental care in a friendly, professional environment. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis.
Duties entail: Scaling and root planings , FMX, prophylaxis (children & adults) , FMX, PANO/CT SCAN, perio charting, charting existing as well as restorative, evaluating treatment , sterilization and scheduling recall appointments.

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to promote optimal oral health.
- Assist with patient assessment by taking vital signs, medical history, and dental records review.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans tailored to their needs.
- Operate dental equipment such as medical imaging devices, intraoral cameras, and digital radiography systems (e.g., Dentrix, Dexis ).
- Maintain strict infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures.
- Document patient interactions, treatment notes, and medical records accurately in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current CPR certification.
- Proven experience in general dentistry .
- Proficiency in dental terminology, medical terminology, and documentation review processes.
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic technique, and anatomy relevant to dental procedures.
- Ability to perform patient care tasks including vital signs measurement and patient assessment accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and collaborate with team members.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
