Position Overview
We are seeking a PRN Staff Pharmacist to join our team. This role is ideal for a pharmacist who values patient relationships, strong customer service, and practicing pharmacy the way it was meant to be practiced — with care, attention, and clinical integrity. As a key member of our pharmacy, you will ensure prescriptions are dispensed safely and accurately while serving as a trusted healthcare resource for our community.
Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions in compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Provide thorough patient counseling on medications, side effects, interactions, and adherence
- Deliver immunizations in accordance with state guidelines
- Perform medication therapy reviews and resolve drug-related problems
- Communicate professionally with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and recommend therapy adjustments when appropriate
- Oversee pharmacy technicians and workflow to maintain efficiency without compromising quality of care
- Maintain proper inventory levels and ensure medications are stored and handled appropriately
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all pharmacy laws and regulations
- Foster a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and seeking guidance
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Indiana Pharmacist license
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to high-quality patient care and community engagement
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a small team environment
- Immunization certification preferred
