Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dependable On-Call Security Guard CSUSA Security to ensure the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility using CCTV surveillance systems and physical patrols to monitor for suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities, and maintaining accurate logs of visitors, contractors, and staff.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, executing established emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or other noteworthy events with clarity and accuracy.
- Perform background checks on visitors or vendors as part of the access control process to ensure compliance with security policies.
- Manage conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to resolve disputes peacefully while maintaining safety.
- Handle physical security tasks such as heavy lifting when necessary for equipment or supplies while adhering to manual handling safety standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in surveillance technology including CCTV systems and familiarity with law enforcement procedures.
- Strong knowledge of emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety measures.
- Experience with incident report writing and maintaining comprehensive security logs.
- Ability to perform background checks and operate access control systems effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict de-escalation techniques to handle challenging situations professionally.
- Physical fitness for patrolling duties involving walking, standing for extended periods, heavy lifting, and manual handling tasks.
- Knowledge of legal regulations related to security operations such as loss prevention policies and compliance standards.
