Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Home Inspector at Pillar To Post Home Inspectors. As a Home Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of residential properties, evaluating the condition of various systems and components, and preparing detailed inspection reports for clients.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of residential property systems and components
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills
- Certification as a Home Inspector (Preferred, not required)
- Physical ability to climb, crawl, and access confined spaces during inspections
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs and use a ladder
- Ability to stand and inspect for extended periods of time
- May be subjected to drug screening during employment at random notice
- Understand the importance of quality and consistent customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Great listening skills
- Proficient computer skills and ability to use various tech equipment
- Have the aptitude and mental ability to problem solve and conduct professional conversations with real estate agents and customers
- Integrity and strong work ethic. Punctual and ability to work unsupervised
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and insurance
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl space, enter attics as well as stand for long periods of time
- Ability to pass all employment screening and technical knowledge exam
- Required to authorize background and driving checks
- Available to work some evenings and weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $37.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
