Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Event Sales Manager to lead our venue sales initiatives and elevate our event offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful planning and execution of events. Your passion for hospitality combined with strong negotiation and marketing skills will drive revenue growth while delivering outstanding guest experiences.
SALARY RANGE is base salary only. Uncapped commissions are in addition.
Duties
- Actively pursue new event business through prospecting, networking, and targeted marketing efforts to meet revenue goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, catering to their needs with personalized service and expert guidance.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to maximize profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the culinary, catering, and operations teams to coordinate event details such as menu planning, setup, and logistics.
- Develop and implement effective event marketing strategies to attract diverse clientele and increase venue visibility.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally while maintaining high standards of hospitality.
Experience
- Proven experience in event sales or hospitality management within restaurants, hotels, or banquet facilities.
- Proven track records of meeting/exceeding annual goals of $3M-$3.5M
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals and upselling services.
- Knowledge of event marketing strategies and event planning processes from concept to completion.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members alike.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with budgeting, contracts, catering coordination, and guest services in a hospitality setting.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
