Job Overview
The RV Sales & Finance Coordinator is responsible for guiding customers through the complete RV purchasing experience—from initial consultation and vehicle selection to financing, protection product presentations, and final delivery. This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of an RV Sales Associate and Finance Coordinator, providing customers with a seamless, efficient, and exceptional buying experience.
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, and motivated by sales performance while possessing the ability to explain financing options, present value-added protection products, and coordinate closely with internal departments to ensure every transaction is completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Experience
- Guide customers through the RV purchasing process by identifying needs, presenting product options, and recommending vehicles that align with their lifestyle and budget.
- Maintain product knowledge of RV models, features, manufacturers, and dealership inventory.
- Generate new business through referrals, follow-up activities, digital inquiries, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales documentation within dealership systems.
Finance & Insurance Coordination
- Present financing options that align with customer needs while ensuring compliance with dealership policies and applicable regulations.
- Prepare and review financing documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Clearly explain financing terms, payment options, and product benefits.
- Coordinate with lenders to obtain financing approvals and complete transactions in a timely manner.
Deal Coordination & Closing
- Manage the sales transaction from signed purchase agreement through final delivery.
- Coordinate communication between Sales, Finance, Service, Parts, Detail, and Accounting to ensure timely vehicle preparation.
- Verify all required documentation is complete prior to funding and delivery.
- Monitor deal progress and proactively resolve issues that may delay closing.
- Ensure customers understand delivery timelines, required documentation, and next steps throughout the process.
Customer Service & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the customer's purchasing journey.
- Respond promptly to customer questions and concerns before and after delivery.
- Resolve customer issues professionally while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Promote positive online reviews, repeat business, and referral opportunities.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate deal jackets and supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, lending requirements, state regulations, and federal finance laws.
- Utilize dealership CRM, DMS, lender portals, and other technology platforms effectively.
- Participate in sales meetings, training, and continuous professional development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in automotive, RV, finance, or retail sales,
- Previous Finance & Insurance (F&I) experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
- Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Experience selling protection products or extended warranties.
- Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) and CRM software.
- Knowledge of lending practices and finance documentation.
