Adrenaline Climbing's award-winning Summer Camp program introduces campers ages 8-14 to outdoor adventure through exciting field trips and active experiences throughout North Georgia.
Named Best Day Camp and Best Summer Camp by multiple local publications, our program focuses on helping kids build confidence, independence, respect for others, and a love for outdoor adventure.

Technology use is discouraged during camp. We believe children develop confidence, friendships, and independence when they engage with nature, challenge themselves, and participate fully in shared experiences.
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-energy Outdoor Adventure Camp Leader to join our summer team. This individual will work alongside another Camp Leader and two Camp Counselors to create safe, exciting, and memorable experiences for campers.
This is a leadership position that requires sound judgment, strong communication skills, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with children in outdoor environments.
The ideal candidate is someone who can balance safety, accountability, and respect while still creating an atmosphere that is fun, inclusive, and adventurous.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead groups of campers ages 8-14 during daily activities and field trips
- Help create a positive, welcoming, and inclusive camp environment
- Ensure all camp safety rules and procedures are followed
- Drive a 15-passenger Sprinter van to and from activity destinations
- Supervise campers during water-based, athletic, and outdoor activities
- Work closely with fellow Camp Leaders and Camp Counselors
- Serve as a positive role model for campers
- Manage camper behavior using positive reinforcement and clear expectations
- Respond appropriately to incidents, injuries, and emergencies
- Maintain clear communication with supervisors, staff, and parents
- Assist with camp equipment, organization, and daily logistics
- Encourage participation, teamwork, confidence, and respect among campers

Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Must possess a clean driving record
- Must be eligible to pass a background check
- Previous experience working or volunteering with youth in a camp, educational, recreation, coaching, or group setting
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Dependable, professional, and punctual
- Comfortable leading large groups of children
- Strong swimmer with confidence around water-based activities
- Ability to work outdoors in summer weather conditions
- Ability to remain active throughout the day, including walking, hiking, swimming, and participating in activities
Preferred Qualifications
- Physical Education Teacher
- Outdoor Education Experience
- Camp Leadership Experience
- Coaching Experience
- Guiding or Outdoor Recreation Experience
- CPR / First Aid Certification
- Lifeguard Certification
- Rock Climbing Experience
- Education, Recreation, or related degree

Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Summer season runs through July 31
Applicants with one previously scheduled week off may still be considered. However, applicants requiring multiple weeks away during the camp season are encouraged to apply in future years.
