Summary
We are seeking skilled Structural Welders to join our team at C&J Equipment Manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for welding structural components and ensuring the integrity and quality of our products.
Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations on structural components using GMAW.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
- Assemble and fit parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and codes during all welding activities.
- Conduct quality inspections of welds to ensure they meet industry standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Requirements
- 2+ years of welding experience, including MIG, skid building, and blueprint reading.
- Must be able to pass a plate test and read a tape measure.
- Excellent attendance is required.
- Strict quality standards and pride in work required.
- Proven experience as a Structural Welder or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints.
- Familiarity with welding techniques, including GMAW.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards related to welding practices.

**Three shift options available - Nights (Monday - Friday), Days (Monday - Thursday) and Days (Friday - Sunday).
Physical Qualifications:
- Regularly lift/move 50 lbs; occasionally assist with team lifts for heavier components.
- Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments (heat/cold).
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods in a shop environment.
- Manual dexterity to operate grinders, torches, and welding leads with precision.
- Must pass a post-offer drug screen.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
