Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automotive service and maintenance, with a focus on providing quality repair work. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine oil changes, brakes, coolant services, transmission services, brake flushes, tire services, recalls, state / emission inspections, and other essential maintenance and repair tasks to ensure vehicles operate smoothly and efficiently.
Duties
- Complete a thorough multi-point inspection on every vehicle and record findings.
- Perform oil changes and fluid level checks on various vehicles.
- Conduct tire services including rotation, balancing, and alignment.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist in diagnosing vehicle issues and recommending appropriate services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Perform maintenance as specified on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy and in accordance with dealership standards.
- Complete air and cabin filter replacement.
- Complete battery tests and replacement as necessary.
- Complete wiper replacement as necessary.
- Complete replacement of small bulbs as necessary.
- Maintenance repairs to be performed based on ability level.
- Fluid Flushes and other Maintenance services
- Perform Brake Jobs and minor Recalls
Qualifications / Requirements
- Actual shop / dealership Auto Lube & Tire Technician/ Mechanic experience required
- Valid drivers license and safe driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to work Saturdays.
- Must have Own Tools / Toolbox to do Job. (Inc Torque wrench and impacts)
- Missouri State Inspection and Emission Licenses is Preferred. Will need to get within 90 days if not.
- Proficient in using hand tools and automotive equipment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to flag 40+ hours Flat rate
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in automotive maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

- Do you have ANY criminal record at all? We do thorough Background checks before hiring.
- We are a flat rate shop - All techs are required to flag / produce 40+ hours of repair work. We do not tolerate poor quality repairs or comebacks. Will This be an issue?
- You must have all your own tools to perform all aspects of the job. This is required. Do you have your own tools and impact guns, Torque wrench, etc?
- Do you have your Missouri Vehicle State Inspection and Emission Licenses?
- Did you read the complete AD and meet all the Required Qualifications?
- We do drug testing before hire and random tests while employed. Will this be an issue?
Experience:
- Actual shop / Dealership Automotive Technician: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Clean Driver license and driving record (Required)
