Responsibilities
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for customer transactions
- Handle cash, credit card, and digital payments while maintaining proper cash-handling procedures
- Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming experience for all guests
- Communicate effectively with customers and fellow team members
- Keep the dining lobby clean, organized, and presentable throughout the day
- Refill salsa, sauce, and condiment stations to ensure customers have everything they need
- Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining a clean work environment
- Help team members during busy periods and support daily restaurant operations
- Handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Qualifications
- No experience required – we are willing to train the right candidate
- Previous cashier, restaurant, or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities at once
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Team-player mentality with a positive attitude
