We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Team Members to join our dynamic café team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with precision and consistency.
- Operate Square POS system to process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and manage cash handling with accuracy.
- Ensure food safety standards are maintained during food preparation and serving.
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management.
- Follow all food handling and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.
Skills
- Previous Barista experience or coffee experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Proficiency with POS systems is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and making accurate change.
- Knowledge of food safety, food preparation, and food handling standards in a café or food service environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
