Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in Hotel Guestrooms. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Housekeeper will ensure that all areas are clean, sanitized, and welcoming for clients and guests.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Clean and maintain guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobby areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Assist in laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Organize cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently for easy access.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety guidelines to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as needed.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients or team members professionally.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is a plus.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
