Dental Front Desk Associate
Are you a friendly, organized professional who loves being the face of a dental practice? Our growing, modern dental office is looking for a Front Desk Associate to help our clinic run smoothly. This is a perfect role for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and working closely with a supportive team.
Responsibilities
- Patient Experience: Greet patients warmly and check them in efficiently using our Patient Management System (Eaglesoft).
- Scheduling: Manage the daily schedule, including new appointments, cancellations, and follow-ups, to optimize patient flow.
- Insurance & Documentation: Verify insurance details, process medical documentation, and ensure all records are maintained in strict compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Administrative Support: Handle incoming calls, manage office correspondence, and coordinate with insurance providers.
- Clinical Coordination: Assist with administrative tasks related to both front and back-office clinical requirements.
Skills
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to foster a positive, welcoming experience for patients of all ages.
- Dental Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures.
- Compliance: Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with Eaglesoft is highly preferred.
- Bonus Points: Knowledge of dental assisting tasks (chairside support, X-rays) or dental imaging technology (3D scanners/milling machines) is a plus, though not required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office or front desk role.
- A positive, team-player mindset.
- Dental assisting experience is preferred but not required.
