Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with proficiency in chairside support, patient care, and administrative tasks. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental services by supporting dentists and ensuring a smooth, efficient clinic operation. Your expertise in infection control, medical documentation, and dental procedures will contribute to providing exceptional patient experiences and maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.
Duties
- Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, ensuring smooth workflow through four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, maintaining aseptic technique and infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging equipment such as 3D scanners and other medical imaging tools while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Collect vital signs and medical history information to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Manage patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of medical documentation.
