The BHE Maintenance Mechanic 3 is able to support all locations in the BHE Real Estate portfolio of properties throughout a tri-county area. Individuals perform a wide variety of installation, repairs and maintenance functions including scheduled, routine and emergency work in one or more of the trade disciplines. This includes but is not limited to, ensuring that all mechanical systems and equipment are operational and properly maintained and that all areas of the facilities are kept in an aesthetically appealing condition in accordance with departmental standards. A Mechanic 3 is required to be part of the on call rotating schedule including weekends. During which they must be able to work independently and proficiently troubleshoot emergency conditions for facilities and/or equipment. The BHE Mechanic 3 must possess knowledge of standard concepts practices and procedures of commercial office building operations. Must functions as a team leader in the absence of a supervisor, and assists Leadership in training and on-boarding Mechanic Technician levels 1 and 2 as it relates to the Environment of Care and compliance standards for regulatory agencies including The Joint Commission, AAAHC, AHCA, and all Authorities Having Jurisdiction as well as technical aspects of the job. Estimated pay range for this position is $23.21 - $30.17 / hour depending on experience.

Licenses & Certifications:
- Florida Drivers License (Class E Non-Commercial).
Additional Qualifications:
- Five (5) years experience in commercial building and/or medical facilities operations, with knowledge of experience in central plant operations general repair/maintenance and discipline specific knowledge of repair/maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, paint, and life safety systems and equipment inspections.

Miami-Dade Mechanical or Journeymans license preferred.
