Responsibilities
- Create a safe, happy, fun, and respectful life for residents.
- Provide assistance in all aspects of daily living.
- Follow response procedures for all home emergencies (medical/dental, behavioral, natural incidents)
- Assist with maintenance and sanitation of home and surroundings
Job Requirements
- Prior experience providing direct care and supervision to persons with special needs is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate with residents, their families, and staff.
- Able to meet Title 22 requirements, including, but not limited to:
- Minimum age 18
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Fingerprinting and clear criminal record
- Health screen and TB clearance (TB clearance every two to five years thereafter)
- CPR and first aid training (and every two years annually)
- Valid and current California driver’s license and clear driving record (for drivers)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs (to transfer individuals).

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
