Position Summary
We are a growing skilled nursing and long-term care organization in Georgia, and we are looking for an experienced Healthcare Recruiter who lives and breathes nursing home hiring. This is not an entry-level seat: we want someone who has recruited for skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and long-term care (LTC) for years, knows exactly where the best CNAs, LPNs, RNs, and facility leaders come from, and can consistently turn job postings into qualified, hired applicants.
You will own full-cycle recruiting across our facilities — sourcing, screening, and shepherding candidates from first contact to start date — and partner closely with administrators and directors of nursing to keep every building staffed. We will be honest that healthcare recruiting in long-term care is fast and competitive; in return, you get the autonomy to run your own pipeline, the tools to do it well, and a team that treats recruiting as mission-critical, not an afterthought. If you are the recruiter other recruiters ask for advice, we want to talk to you.
Key Responsibilities
● Manage full-cycle recruiting for nursing home and long-term care roles — CNAs, LPNs, RNs, MDS, rehab, dietary, housekeeping, and facility leadership.
● Proactively source and engage passive candidates through Indeed, job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and your own established network in the Georgia healthcare market.
● Write and optimize compelling, keyword-rich job postings that attract high volumes of qualified applicants and improve apply rates.
● Screen, interview, and qualify candidates quickly, keeping time-to-fill low without sacrificing quality of hire.
● Partner with facility administrators and directors of nursing to understand staffing needs, build hiring plans, and prioritize hard-to-fill and high-turnover roles.
● Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate pipeline, keeping data accurate and moving candidates through the process without delays.
● Coordinate interviews, extend offers, and drive the pre-employment process (background checks, references, credential verification) to a clean start date.
● Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future openings so we are never starting from zero when a position opens.
● Track and report recruiting metrics — applicants, interviews, hires, time-to-fill, and source effectiveness — and use the data to improve results.
● Represent the organization as a brand ambassador at job fairs, hiring events, and in every candidate interaction.
Required Qualifications
● Extensive nursing home / skilled nursing / long-term care recruiting experience — you have done this for years and can point to results.
● Proven track record of high-volume, full-cycle healthcare recruiting and consistently hitting hiring targets.
● Deep knowledge of sourcing tools and job boards (Indeed, and similar) and how to optimize postings to attract more and better applicants.
● Hands-on experience with an applicant tracking system (ATS) and modern sourcing techniques.
● Strong understanding of healthcare and LTC roles, credentials, and licensure so you can screen candidates accurately.
● Excellent communication, relationship-building, and closing skills — you know how to sell an opportunity and move candidates to yes.
● Highly organized and self-directed, able to manage many requisitions at once in a remote/hybrid setting.
● Based in Georgia, able to work a hybrid schedule with regular in-person time, and able to pass a pre-employment background check.
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience recruiting across multiple SNF / nursing home locations or for a multi-facility organization.
● Established network of nursing and clinical candidates in the Georgia market.
● Familiarity with staffing for survey readiness, census growth, and new-building openings.
● Experience with recruitment marketing, employer branding, and candidate-nurturing campaigns.
● Bilingual candidates are a plus.
Schedule and Location
This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule — part remote and part in-person — based in Georgia. You will split your time between working remotely and being on-site, including time in our buildings and at hiring events so you know the roles and teams you are recruiting for. Some local travel between facilities may be required.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus a full benefits package.
● Medical, dental, and vision insurance
● Paid time off (PTO) and paid holidays
● 401(k) retirement plan
● Life and disability insurance
● Flexible hybrid work and a supportive, growth-minded team
Physical Requirements
● Ability to work at a computer and communicate by phone, email, and video for extended periods.
● Ability to travel locally to facilities, job fairs, and hiring events as needed.
● Ability to occasionally lift or carry event materials (up to 25 pounds).
How to Apply
To apply, submit your resume and a short note about your nursing home / long-term care recruiting experience and the results you have delivered, through Indeed. Strong candidates will be contacted for a phone screen followed by an interview. We are specifically looking for a seasoned recruiter who knows how to bring in great applicants — if that is you, we would love to hear from you.
