Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Manage food inventory, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with management to design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Oversee banquet preparations, ensuring timely service for events.
- Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process, making adjustments as necessary.
- Assist with bartending duties when required, providing excellent service to guests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or culinary roles, with a strong emphasis on food preparation.
- Demonstrated skills in supervising staff and managing a kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and management effectively.
- Passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes.
- Familiarity with banquet service is a plus.
