Overview
AG Interior Designs is a premier manufacturer of high-end custom furniture, draperies, and window coverings. We serve luxury residential clients, interior designers, and commercial partners including casinos and resorts throughout the Western U.S. We are seeking a proactive, organized, and hands-on Production & Operations Support Specialist to help keep daily operations running smoothly and ensure production workflows stay on track.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. You will serve as a key resource supporting both the production floor and administrative functions, with a focus on inventory, purchasing, scheduling, facilities, and internal communication.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Materials Management
- Manage hardware and supply inventory, including preparing all ‘hardware packages’ for installation one week before schedule install at customer site
- Oversee all physical inventory in coordination with production
- Manage receiving department, including tracking of incoming fabric and roller shades
- Maintain and update fabric checklists for incoming and in-stock materials
- Track insert and fill stock and reorder needs
Facilities & Warehouse Management
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
- Identify facility maintenance or improvement needs and ensure timely scheduling of work
- Coordinate with external vendors as needed for repairs or upgrades
Administrative & Production Support
- Input into daily and weekly production scheduling
- Support Quickbooks Online estimation process
- Input and prepare paperwork and documentation for work orders
- Serve as a central point of contact to help staff solve problems and answer questions
- Provide general support to ensure production flows smoothly when management is unavailable
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in a production, warehouse, or operations support role
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable juggling multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Proficiency in Quickbooks Online
- Experience in drapery, interior design, custom furniture, or textile-related industries is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
