You’ll work with a caseload consisting of three pre-kindergarten students and eight students in kindergarten through fifth grade, including one consultative assignment. Qualifications and Experience:
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric OT preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education programs (IEPs) and student documentation
- Comfort working independently and as part of a collaborative school support team
- Effective communication and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to pre-K through 5th grade students, adapting approaches as needed
- Complete assessments, develop intervention plans, and maintain timely documentation in accordance with school guidelines
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Provide individual or small-group interventions, as well as consultation for designated students
- Monitor progress, communicate regularly with team members, and adjust strategies as needed
