Job Overview
We have several openings for Daycare Teachers (both full and part time) to participate in the daycare classrooms as a trusted guide in a child’s earliest and most formative years and spark curiosity through play-based learning, help develop social and emotional skills, and create a safe, loving environment where they feel seen, heard, and valued.
Responsibilities
- Monitor children at all times to prevent accidents and ensure safe interactions with peers and staff.
- Feed, diaper, and assist with toilet training, dressing, and maintaining hygiene for younger children.
- Plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities, crafts, games, and outdoor play to promote learning and social skills.
- Encourage positive behavior, modeling social skills and effective discipline when necessary.
- Monitor developmental progress noting behavioral or health concerns and communicating with parents or guardians.
- Administer first aid or medication as instructed.
- Maintain a clean environment.
- Follow safety protocols.
Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Child Development Associate or Early Childhood Development certificate preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years’ field experience.
- Patience, empathy, strong communication, interpersonal skills, physical stamina, and knowledge of child development stages.
- First aid and CPR certifications required; MAT optional but preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to pass necessary background checks.
- Must be flexible and able to work with all ages of children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
