Electrical Estimator – Silverton and Prineville Locations
About Us:
We are seeking a qualified Electrical Estimator to join our dedicated team.
Kuenzi Electric Inc. is a reputable, family-owned and operated electrical contractor established in 2002, with locations in Silverton, Oregon, and Prineville, Oregon. Our company is experiencing growth and specializes in serving industrial, commercial, and custom residential projects. We are currently looking for a skilled Electrical Estimator to contribute to our team at both locations.
The Role:
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive bids. You will analyze blueprints, calculate material and labor costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Takeoff & Analysis: Review project plans, specifications, and tender documents to identify project scopes.
- Pricing & Bidding: Determine accurate material takeoffs and apply standard labor productivity rates to build highly competitive bids.
- Vendor & Subcontractor Communication: Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and specialty sub-trades.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating or as a Journeyman Electrician transitioning to the office.
- Familiarity with NEC standards and local electrical codes.
- Experience with electrical estimating software (TurboBid, Bluebeam and Excel).
- Strong ability to read architectural and electrical blueprints.
