Summary
The Assembler is responsible for producing and assembling electronic components according to specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Reads and follows prints, routers/travelers, specifications and other work instructions in order to build and assemble parts and equipment in an accurate and timely fashion.
2. Uses various hand tools while assembling product, including the ability to use crimp and cutting tools.
3. Depending on assigned area, operates machines utilized during the assembly process, including the ability to utilize hand and foot actuated valves.
4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
5. Regular attendance is an essential function of every position at Marlin Technologies.
6. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

Education and/or Experience
- Requires education generally equivalent to a High School diploma.
- Prefer 1+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Requires basic mathematical skills that include the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Must have the ability to read and understand prints and other manufacturing work instructions.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees.
- Prefer a basic knowledge and comfort in the use of small hand tools.
- Prefer previous experience with soldering.
- Proficiency in the use of computers including basic ERP time/job tracking.

While performing the duties and responsibilities of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit and use both hands to finger, handle, and touch products. The incumbent will regularly talk and listen, and occasionally reach above shoulders. He/she will frequently stand, walk and move from place to place. Occasionally will carry boxes containing products with a weight of up to 40#. Specific vision requirements for this position include close vision, color vision and depth perception. Work hours up to 10 hours/day is possible and dependent on the business needs of the company.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Employees in this position work in a (approx.) 25,000 square foot manufacturing facility setting which includes large machinery. Noise level is moderate, and temperature is controlled with both heat and air conditioning.
