Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Attendant Care Coordinator to oversee and coordinate personalized care services for individuals with diverse needs. Duties
- Coordinate scheduling and deployment of direct support staff to ensure consistent and reliable care delivery home care environments.
- Provide training and guidance to caregiving staff on abuse, neglect, fraud and incident reporting
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of care plans; adjust strategies accordingly to optimize client comfort and safety.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, families, healthcare providers, and case managers to ensure seamless communication and adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality.
- Manage emergency situations with confidence by applying first aid skills when necessary; assist with heavy lifting using Hoyer lifts or other equipment while maintaining safety protocols.
- Oversee the maintenance of a clean environment by ensuring proper cleaning routines are followed in accordance with health standards.

Skills
- Extensive experience in assisted living environments, nursing homes or home care settings with a strong understanding of senior care principles.
- Proven ability to assist with ADLs and provide direct support tailored to individual needs.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration procedures, vital signs monitoring, and HIPAA compliance.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities including developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
- Strong caregiving skills complemented by certifications such as first aid or CPR; ability to handle heavy lifting safely using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with clients’ families and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage behavior challenges through behavior management strategies; adept at conflict resolution.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Compassionate approach combined with organizational skills necessary for developing comprehensive care plans and coordinating multiple responsibilities efficiently.
