Apprentice Electrician
Type of Position: Temporary - Project Base
Location of project: Moanalua Area
Pay: $35/hr.
Job Duties:
The Apprentice Electrician will work directly with journeymen on the job sites. 2+ years of relevant experience is required. Scope of work includes bending & installing conduit sizes 1/2" to 3", pulling and terminating wire, testing, and cleaning.
They will measure, cut, thread, and bend electrical conduit (pipe) using specialized hand and power tools. They will pull and push wiring through openings, connect circuits to panels, and terminate branch wires in junction boxes.
Requirements :
- All applicants will be expected to have their own: hard hat, side-cutting pliers, long-nose pliers, diagonal cutters, hammer, and screwdrivers, Measure Voltage tester Torpedo Level Half Round File Channel Locks/ Pipe wrenches Allen head wrenches Flashlight Utility Knife Pencils Wire strippers.
- Must have 2+ years of relevant experience
- Must be able to communicate clearly and understand instructions
- Attention to detail
- Perform physical labor in all environments and weather climates
- Able to operate tools and equipment
- Must be able to show up to work on time
Pay: $35.00 per hour
