Job Overview
Our company, Thrive Trucking Inc, is a contracted service provider for FedEx, and we’re looking for a dependable and safety-focused Route Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering packages efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining strict adherence to all safety and compliance standards. This position involves operating box trucks and other delivery vehicles in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. It also involves being able to naviage with GPS navigation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck or similar delivery vehicle to transport packages to assigned destinations.
- Follow established routes, maintaining on-time delivery schedules and compliance with all traffic laws.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and proper maintenance.
- Accurately document deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
- Assist with warehouse tasks as needed, including inventory organization and package handling.
Qualifications & Skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must be able to pass a background check, drug screening, and DOT physical.
- Prior route driving or courier experience preferred.
- Ability to lift and move packages during loading and unloading.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL not required).

Pay: $140.00 - $150.00 per day
