Nail Technician Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nail care and related beauty services, providing exceptional customer experiences while ensuring the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of nail services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements, while also having the opportunity to upsell additional beauty treatments.
Duties
- Perform professional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
- Sanitate tools and workstations to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, hair styling, and esthetic laser treatments as needed.
- Demonstrate knowledge of retail math to assist clients with product recommendations and upselling opportunities.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments to provide informed suggestions to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and client preferences.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of various nail care techniques, including dermabrasion and barbering skills is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A valid cosmetology or nail technician license is required.
