Overview:
Prepare both hot and cold food items for patients, residents, visitors and staff. Serve food, clean equipment and work area, and put stock away. Lead Culinary Services Aides in day-to-day operations and actively participate in all culinary training. This position will be required to travel and provide care at all Benedictine communities within the assigned region as needed/required.
Responsibilities:
- Operates, cleans, and sanitizes foodservice equipment and work area.

Prepares food following food safety guidelines, diet restrictions and standardized recipes.

Serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.

Promotes the Benedictine Mission and Core Values of Hospitality, Stewardship, Respect and Justice by bringing the Mission and Core Values into the day-to-day activities of the company.
- Performs other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Quantity food production experience

Completion of an approved food safety sanitation course, or completion within the first 90 days of employment
