POSITION SUMMARY
Performs daily maintenance, obtains bids for repairs and planning, assists in budgetary planning, coordinates small to mid-size projects, has pre-determined repair approval and provides audit identified reports for 1st Source Bank facilities.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Performs electrical and mechanical repairs and general maintenance for designated 1st Source offices and facilities.
- Assists Maintenance Supervisor when backup is necessary to support maintenance staff in coordination, facility coverage and approvals.
- Has pre-determined cost approval level for daily work
- Identifies and handles hazardous conditions and reports issues to supervisor
- Works with Maintenance Supervisor for repair and remodeling project needs.
- Maintains department equipment including maintenance truck, equipment, and tools.
- Obtains bids for planned and unplanned projects as driven by budget, work order needs and leads coordination of approved assigned projects.
- Leads team on annual safety training protocols involved with necessary work practices
- Provides a variety of maintenance services including general construction, moving furniture, painting, exterior cleaning, fall clean up, project demands and provide 24 hour on-call service in the event of an emergency.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.
- Compliance training for your position must be completed each year.
- Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and complies with the requirements.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs all other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
- Three (3) or more years’ experience preferred or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
- Experience with budgetary planning, spending and project coordination
- General repair knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general construction
- Good verbal communication skills.
- High standards for work ethics, attendance, and organizational skills.
- Basic MS Office experience required.
- Team oriented.
EDUCATION
High School Diploma/GED required.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel to all locations as well as ability to travel overnight, as needed for meetings, projects, seminars, etc.

The employee is occasionally required to stoop or kneel. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
