We are currently seeking a full-time Shipping/Receiving/Inventory Clerk for our manufacturing facility in Orlando, Florida. Essential Functions
· Receiving, material control and shipping
Receiving
· Unpack incoming UPS and FedEx packages; mostly small electro-mechanical components and assemblies or customer instruments
· Perform basic cosmetic incoming inspection of raw material for damage
· Manage Asana with incoming material
· Scan and send packing slips to accounting
· Check-in all equipment being received for calibration and warranty repairs and store on incoming shelves in production area
· Ensure work space is free of debris and safety hazards: Place used boxes into dumpster located at end of parking lot
Material control
· Sort, organize, label and store inventory in proper location: Includes stock locations in store room and on production floor
· Assist in inventory activities such as cycle counting and physical inventory
· Assist in notification to purchasing of material needed for production
· Manage Kanban cards for material on order
· Update all bin locations on the KB cards & QuickBooks when needed
· Pull and package material to be sent to vendor and create shipping label
Shipping
· Pack and ship new and returned instruments for outgoing shipments.
· Create domestic and international shipping labels using UPS, FedEx, DHL or any other carrier as per customer requirement. In addition, create international shipment documents when applicable
· Interact with shipping companies when there are issues with pickups
· Perform other duties as applicable to the position or as assigned
Minimum Requirements
HS diploma, GED or equivalent
Domestic and international shipping experience using UPS and FedEx shipping portals to create shipping labels is required
Receiving experience using Asana or similar application required
Inventory management experience including cycle counting required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organization and administrative skills
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented and multitasking skills
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
· Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, such as walking, standing, stooping, reaching, bending and lifting material
· Lift up to 10 lbs. frequently; lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
· Some shipping containers may weigh up to 75 pounds. Transportation tools are provided.
