We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial accounting activities of our organization. This is a key role that requires strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to analyze complex financial data.
```Duties```
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Conduct detailed analysis of financial data to identify trends and variances
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Provide support for audits and tax filings
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of account reconciliation, debits, credits, and accrual accounting
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as PeopleSoft, Xero, or similar systems
- Experience with technical accounting principles and practices
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
