About Our Practice
The Center for Psychological Health & Wellness is an established and growing group practice in Shillington, Pennsylvania, serving individuals, children, couples, and families across the Berks County area and throughout Pennsylvania. Our team provides evidence-based care for anxiety, depression, trauma, childhood behavioral concerns, couples and family conflict, and individuals navigating complex life transitions.
In addition to our clinical services, our practice serves Pennsylvania courts in forensic psychology matters — including custody evaluations, reunification therapy, and cooperative parenting — making CPHW a distinctive setting for clinicians who want to work within a practice that takes professional depth seriously.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a fully licensed, experienced clinician to join our team carrying a general individual therapy caseload, with EMDR as a valued and actively used clinical skill. This is not an entry-level position — we are looking for someone seasoned, grounded, and ready to contribute meaningfully to a growing practice from day one.
Beyond clinical work, this role carries a longer-term opportunity: Pennsylvania's licensure requirements allow clinicians with five or more years of post-licensure experience to provide clinical supervision to associate-licensed staff. If you meet or are approaching that threshold, there is a defined pathway here to take on a supervisory role within the practice as we continue to grow.
Primary Responsibilities
- Carry an assigned individual therapy caseload across adult, adolescent, and child modalities
- Utilize EMDR with appropriate clients as a core clinical tool, not simply as an occasional add-on
- Collaborate with and support the existing clinical team
- Maintain timely, thorough documentation consistent with licensing and practice standards
- Participate in team consultation and professional development
- Over time, provide clinical supervision to associate-licensed clinicians if eligible under Pennsylvania licensing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist — full licensure only; no associate or provisional licenses considered
- Minimum five years of post-licensure clinical experience — this requirement reflects both professional depth and Pennsylvania's supervision eligibility threshold
- Demonstrated competency in EMDR — full certification preferred but solid training and active clinical use is acceptable; please describe your EMDR background specifically in your cover letter
- Experience treating trauma across the lifespan
- Strong documentation skills and professional work ethic
- Collaborative orientation — this is a team practice, not a solo model
Preferred Qualifications
- EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) certification or consultation hours in progress
- Experience with children and adolescents, including trauma presentations in younger clients
- Familiarity with high-conflict family systems or court-involved cases
- Prior experience in a group practice setting
- Supervision experience or eligibility under Pennsylvania licensing requirements
What We Offer
- Per-session compensation: $55–$75 based on credential and experience
- A professionally serious team environment with a distinctive forensic identity
- An established referral network in the greater Berks County area
- Flexible scheduling with both in-person and telehealth modalities
- A defined pathway to a clinical supervision role as the practice grows
- The opportunity to bring EMDR into a practice that will actively support and value your specialty training

Please submit your resume, a copy of your active Pennsylvania license, and a cover letter that specifically describes your EMDR training, certification status, and clinical experience using EMDR to:
