Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble deli food items with precision and care, following safety and quality standards.
- Operate POS system and 3rd party online order systems to process sales accurately and efficiently.
- Assist customers in selecting products, answer questions about food options, and recommend upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience.
- Manage food service customer orders by accurately entering orders into POS systems and ensuring timely fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by regularly cleaning counters, equipment, and adhering to food safety protocols.
- Clean, organize, and restock coolers and marketplace items as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining area by wiping tables, sweeping floors, and tidying the space as needed.
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions with accuracy.
Skills
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting without sacrificing quality or safety.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques.
- Skills for managing cash transactions accurately and processing sales efficiently.
