Sturgis Charter Public School is looking to hire janitors and maintenance personnel for its East and West Campuses, as well as its Community Center. These positions will be responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for students and school faculty. Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare offices, classrooms, and common areas for student and staff events
- Maintain the general cleanliness of common areas and restrooms
- Sweep and remove dirt and trash from hallways, classrooms, and offices
- Stock restrooms and kitchen areas with paper towels, soap, and toilet paper
- Remove trash and cardboard from classrooms, offices, and hallways
- General handyman work, including some painting
- Maintains building grounds through basic landscaping, lawn care, and sesaonal snow and ice removal to ensure a safe, clean and well-maintained property.
Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs. Activities include frequent physical exertion in body movement such as reaching, bending and twisting. The position also requires frequent pulling and pushing of materials.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
