Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Program Assistant to join our team! RESPONSIBILITIES
Included but not limited to:
- Actively present Town Square member activities and support and encourage member participation
- In cooperation with Activity Director, plan and facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly activities to encourage socialization, stimulation, and recreation
- Serve meals and snacks; assist members requiring help with cutting food, clear tables, and all other functions related to meals
- Participate in preparation of member activities as requested
- Actively contribute to creating and maintaining a clean, orderly, bright, and welcoming environment
- Ensure storefronts and furniture are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at end of day per current Town Square closing protocols
- Communicate in a positive, courteous, and professional manner with members and their families, co-workers, referral agencies, and the community at large
- Participate in staff meetings and educational trainings as required; actively collaborate with all team members, providing feedback and recommendations for enhancing the member experience and achieving overall goals and objectives
- Comply with company policies and procedures and safety and regulatory laws and standards
- Assist with transition and transport, if required, to and from all activities, meals, and restroom breaks
- Report any concerns or observations of change of status in members
- Assist with any and all cleaning responsibilities, including but not limited to storefronts and kitchen. This includes rotational assignments for periodic vacuuming, dusting, and window cleaning
- Assure all Town Square property—furniture, equipment, supplies, and resources are well maintained

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Preferred prior experience working seniors and/or adults with special needs
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Able to bend, pull, push, squat, turn, transfer, and lift 50 pounds; able to stand for an extended period while providing physical assistance to members
- Successful results of background check, and where applicable, additional state specific regulatory requirements

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
