Brentnell Pointe is a modern affordable housing community located in Columbus, Ohio, offering thoughtfully designed one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes. The community features well-maintained grounds and amenities, including a fitness center, community room, and on-site maintenance services. Team members at Brentnell Pointe play an important role in providing exceptional service to residents while helping maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming living environment. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, resident-focused setting dedicated to delivering quality affordable housing and outstanding customer service.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interact positively at all times with residents and the public to enhance the community image and ensure superior resident retention.
Create and maintain a customer-centered service culture by demonstrating proactive hospitality with prospects, residents, family members and fellow community associates.
Maintain an attractive community appearance and overall positive curb appeal.
Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping, including snow removal as directed.
Maintain a clean environment by mopping, window cleaning, trash removal, carpet cleaning, bathrooms, amenities, common areas.
Assist maintenance team members with tasks as needed.
Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
Comply with company expectations as demonstrated in the employee handbook.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Light knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall and painting is a plus.
Ability to follow instructions.
Must be a team player and be able to work with little supervision.
Excellent time management skills and work ethic needed.
Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to read and speak English and follow oral and written directions.
Experience working with cleaning chemicals.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and insurance.
Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into small spaces.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
