Hello pet groomers! We are searching for an experienced and dedicated Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a commitment to providing exceptional grooming services. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of pets while delivering high-quality grooming services that meet the needs of our valued pet owners.
Duties
- Perform grooming services including bathing, drying, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for various breeds of dogs. The ability to do the same with cats, a plus.
- Assess the condition of pets’ coats and skin to determine appropriate grooming techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pet's grooming needs and preferences.
- Handle animals safely and effectively using proper restraint techniques to ensure their comfort and safety during grooming.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, adhering to hygiene standards. Helping to do the same, as a team, shop-wide.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and any special instructions from pet owners on our computer system.
- Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and products to provide the best care possible.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive experience for both pets and their owners.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pet grooming
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Punctuality
- Closeness in proximity to our shop
- Knowledge of animal care practices, including animal restraint techniques
- Ability to handle various breeds of dogs with patience and compassion (ability to do the same with cats is not required but a plus)
- A passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being
