Responsibilities
- Engage with customers in person and over the phone to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products or services
- Conduct route driving to visit clients, deliver products, or perform merchandising tasks efficiently and safely
- Utilize strong communication skills to upsell additional products or services that meet customer needs
- Manage pricing strategies effectively to offer competitive quotes while maintaining profitability
- Perform heavy lifting when handling merchandise or supplies, ensuring proper safety procedures are followed
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and route schedules for optimal efficiency
- Demonstrate excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues, and building lasting relationships
Skills
- Proven ability in sales with strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of pricing strategies and upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities
- Experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license; familiarity with route driving preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various merchandising environments
- Strong organizational skills for managing schedules, inventory, and customer information
- Basic math skills for calculating prices, discounts, and profit margins accurately
- Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Familiarity with military experience or discipline that emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and organizational skills is a plus
Pay: $32,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
