Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Combo Body and Paint Technician to join our automotive repair team.
Responsibilities
- Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, with precision and care
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and applying primer using hand tools and power tools
- Apply high-quality paint finishes using spray guns, ensuring smooth, even coverage that matches factory specifications
- Use detailing techniques to ensure the final finish is flawless, including polishing and buffing
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as minor mechanical repairs or adjustments to support overall repair quality
- Lift vehicle parts safely using proper techniques and equipment to prevent injury or damage
Qualifications
- Prior auto body shop experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with industry standards
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in auto repair and restoration processes
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and auto painting equipment required for detailed work
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures, auto glass installation, and auto painting techniques necessary for comprehensive service
- Experience working with auto body repair systems, detailing processes, and heavy lifting safely is essential
- Automotive repair or mechanic experience is a plus, providing a well-rounded understanding of vehicle systems
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining high-quality standards
