We are a family-owned, independent automotive shop that has been in business for over 20 years. Master mechanic/shop manager needed. We have a history of employees posting over 40 hours per week.
Automotive Mechanic responsibilities include:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- We are specifically looking for an employee with the ability to diagnose (which would involve posted time) and pass this knowledge on to other employees.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional work is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Automotive Technician experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
- Own tools
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Available 8-5:30 Monday to Friday. Benefits: paid holidays and accrued vacation. (We close all weekends and most holiday).

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
