JD Services & Solutions LLC is currently building a qualified candidate pool in support of our proposal submission for janitorial services at Englebright Lake, Nevada County, California. Employment opportunities are contingent upon the award of Solicitation No. W9123826QA023.
We are accepting applications for the following positions:
- Janitorial Supervisor
- Janitorial Lead
- Janitorial Technician(s)
Position Overview
Selected candidates will support janitorial operations at facilities located within the Englebright Lake Project operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and may perform duties including:
- Cleaning offices, administrative areas, restrooms, maintenance facilities, and common areas
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, sanitizing, and trash removal
- Restocking paper products, soap, and other facility supplies
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Reporting maintenance, safety, security, and facility concerns
- Following project safety procedures and Government facility access requirements
- Supporting seasonal, weekend, emergency-response, window-cleaning, carpet-cleaning, and other custodial requirements as assigned
- Maintaining accurate service logs and documentation
Supervisor and Lead positions may also be responsible for:
- Employee scheduling and task assignments
- Quality-control inspections
- Staff training and mentoring
- Inventory and supply management
- Customer interface responsibilities
- Performance documentation and reporting
Physical Requirements
Candidates must be able to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb stairs
- Lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds
- Perform repetitive cleaning and sanitation tasks
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions
- Safely operate janitorial equipment, tools, and cleaning chemicals
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must:
- Be authorized to work in the United States
- Possess a valid government-issued photo ID
- Successfully perform the physical requirements of the position
- Demonstrate reliable attendance, professionalism, and strong work ethic
- Have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation to and from the worksite
- Be able to comply with all worksite safety requirements, policies, and procedures
Additional Supervisor Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Janitorial Supervisor position should possess:
- Minimum five (5) years of janitorial industry experience
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience
- Experience supervising employees and maintaining quality standards
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
These qualifications are based on contract staffing requirements.
Work Location and Schedule
Work is anticipated to be performed at facilities located within the Englebright Lake Project in Nevada County, California. Services may include administrative buildings, maintenance facilities, public-use restrooms, recreational support facilities, and related project areas.
Schedules may include:
- Day shifts
- Weekend shifts
- Seasonal service periods
- Holiday coverage
- Emergency-response assignments
- Additional hours based on Government requirements and operational needs
