We are growing and Turner Furniture is seeking an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused Furniture Sales - Outlet Center Associate to join our team. We are looking for a professional sales associate with a minimum of 1 year of furniture selling experience.
The Furniture Sales Outlet Center Associate is responsible for helping customers furnish their homes through outstanding service and product knowledge. This position sells clearance merchandise, floor samples, in-stock warehouse inventory, new, and special-order furniture, accessories, and mattresses from our vendor partners. Success in this role requires building customer relationships, maximizing every sales opportunity, order accuracy, and delivering an exceptional buying experience from greeting through delivery, while consistently meeting the store’s sales goals.
Check out our convenient store hours 9:30AM-5:00PM Monday thru Saturday and CLOSED on Sunday, with every other Monday or Wednesday off.
Team members enjoy our compensation plan that pays a base pay, commission, and monthly bonuses based on written business not delivered !
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assess clients needs and provide assistance and information on product features
- Welcome clients to the store and answer their queries
- “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
- Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
- Actively seek out clients in store
- Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases
- Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service
Skills
- Proven record and experience in the home furnishing industry.
- Hands-on experience with POS transactions
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
- A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
- Availability to work flexible shifts
