POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Production Scheduler at Jackson's Food Company, the role involves taking the Production Plan created by the Production Planner and creating a production schedule for the Operations team to produce. The focus is on creating a schedule to allow the Operations team to run as efficiently as possible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Other duties may be assigned. Individual will work a varied schedule based on client needs.
Work closely with the production planner to schedule production orders to meet demand.
Collaborate with the E-commerce team to assess inventory needs and incorporate them into the production schedule.
Review and approve customer requests for changes in order quantity and delivery dates, as forwarded by the customer service department.
Ensure adherence to production schedules by regularly reporting schedule versus actual output to the team.
Develop comprehensive production schedules in response to sales orders, forecasts, and demand dynamics.
Ensure adherence to deadlines through a proactive approach, guaranteeing the fulfillment of supply chain needs.
Work collaboratively with the Operations team to assess scheduling needs, maximizing throughput during shifts.
Monitor hour by hour production progress to adjust schedules when needed.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school;
Six months to one-year related experience and/or training;
Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven aptitude in Microsoft Suite; experience with ERP systems required.
