Responsibilities

- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, mixers, and food processors
- Maintain cleanliness standards by cleaning workstations, utensils, and kitchen tools regularly
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and service times
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery
Skills
- Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide with knowledge of meal planning and food preparation
- Strong background in food service or restaurant environments with familiarity in the food industry standards
- Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and recipe adherence
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Experience with catering services, serving guests, and managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with kitchen staff and ensuring smooth operations
Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
