About the Role
As General Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operation across all departments while creating a positive, high-energy environment for both pets and people.
You’ll lead departmental supervisors, develop your team, drive business results, and make sure our standards for animal care, customer service, cleanliness, and safety are consistently met.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to inspire people, make smart business decisions, and jump in when needed will make a real difference.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of overall operations, budgets, labor, and financial performance
- Lead, coach, and develop departmental supervisors and key team members
- Hire and build a strong, talented team
- Partner with HR on performance management, coaching, and employee development
- Create an engaging team culture where people enjoy coming to work
- Lead regular team meetings and keep everyone connected and informed
- Monitor performance and use data to make smart business decisions
- Drive revenue and profitability through strong operations and exceptional service
- Ensure company policies, operational standards, and safety protocols are followed
- Oversee vendor relationships and daily financial processes, including deposits
- Partner with regional leadership to achieve company and brand goals
- Jump in to solve challenges quickly, calmly, and creatively
- Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment for pets, pet parents, and team members

What You Bring
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-department operations
- Hospitality, pet care, retail, or related experience is a plus
- Strong financial and business management skills
- P&L management experience preferred
- Excellent communication and team-building skills
- Ability to analyze data and turn it into action
- A positive, solution-focused mindset
- Ability to stay calm and confident in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service instincts
- A genuine love for pets and the people who care for them
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
