The Cardiovascular Institute of New England, a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its growing cardiovascular team in Rhode Island.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected and established cardiology practice with more than 25 years of serving the community and a strong regional presence across multiple clinic locations. Providers will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced cardiologists across several cardiovascular specialties while building long-term clinical growth within a collaborative environment.
Position Overview
- Primarily outpatient cardiology role with opportunity for future inpatient exposure based on experience and interest
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
- Conduct follow-up visits, medication management, and patient education
- Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff to develop individualized treatment plans
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing including EKGs, labs, imaging, stress testing, and cardiac monitoring
- Opportunity to gain additional exposure to subspecialties including electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, vascular, and heart failure

Schedule & Locations
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Primarily clinic-based role
- Coverage across established Rhode Island clinic locations including Cranston, Lincoln, Johnston, and Pawtucket
- Potential for hospital rounding responsibilities as clinical experience develops
Qualifications
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active Rhode Island license or ability to obtain licensure
- Cardiology experience preferred, but candidates with strong interest in cardiovascular medicine are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced clinical environment
