Job Title: Garage Door Technician

What We're Looking For:
We’re seeking a Garage Door Technician to grow with our team. The ideal candidate has excellent troubleshooting skills, a customer-first mindset, and a can-do, team oriented mindset. Experience is a plus, but some of our best people came to us with no experience and desire to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Install new garage doors and openers (residential and/or commercial)
- Diagnose and repair doors, springs, cables, rollers, and openers
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with clients
- Maintain clean, organized work vehicle and tools
Requirements:
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hand tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work on ladders
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Professional communication and customer service skills
Preferred:
- Prior garage door installation/repair experience. We will train you if you don't have experience are are willing to learn.
- Experience with multiple brands of doors and openers (CHI, Clopay, Amarr, Liftmaster)
- Certifications (IDEA, manufacturer training)
