Join our Agricultural team as a Farm Equipment Operator/Laborer where you'll play a vital roll in maintaining & operating a variety of machinery and equipment to grow Blueberries.
Examples of Work Performed:
Field Maintenance and Caretaking
- Operate Sprayers
- Operate mowers and bush hogs
- Operate various tillage and earth shaping tractor attachments.
- SOME skid steer and loader operation.
Harvesting
- Operate Water Tanker
- Operate Fork Lift
- Drive Box Truck and Trailers
Other Related Duties:
- ANY OTHER TASK AS REQUIRED TO ACCOMPLISH THE OBJECTIVES OF THE COMPANY WHICH MAY INCLUDE PHISICAL LABOR.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid State Drivers License.
- Able to read, understand and comply with pesticide lablel and MSD instructions.
- Maintain physical condition appropriate of the performance of the assigned duties such as: heavy lifting and climbing, working for long periods in a confind space while operating heavy equipment, tolerating the inclement weather, dust and noise of farm operation.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Able to work outside for extended periods of time.
Qualifications:
- Ability to adapt to constantly changing conditions.
- Possess the physical coordination, mechanical aptitude and driving skills to operate a variety of heavy farm equipment.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
